I thought that, as I now think that this forum is really great, with some really nice people (pass the butter) I really should tell you something about myself. [IMG]

(Actually I just used the clap graemlin 'cos there isn't a yawn graemlin.)

My late dad was a professional gardener and I have always loved gardens, but until my retirement from web design last year was far too busy to do much. So I employed a jobbing gardener for a few hours a week, after all, my garden is not huge. Last year, on my 60th, I retired. And immediately started with arthritis. (Ironic n'est ce pas?) So I now still have a jobbing gardener for a couple of hours a week but now have the time to stand shouting 'NO NO YOU STUPID IDIOT. The roots go DOWNWARDS.' Thank goodness he's a friend.

So I was raised in gardening and am not totally uneducated in its art and science (yes, it's both).

I've made a few posts and found everyone friendly, and look forward to both asking for advice and giving it. Isn't that what this is about? Oh, and just chewing the fat.

    Luv to all gardeners
