ok to plant?

    been outside today , dug loads of holes, added plenty of well rotted manure,and planted four clematis and two honeysuckles , is it ok to plant now?

    I would say yes, they're all for sale outside in the garden centres and the ones I have growing in the garden are all showing lots of new growth. But we are a lot further south than you in Wales so you might still get frosts (as might we!).

    The Clematis and Honeysuckles? Yup, they'll be fine.

    would you cover with straw as a precaution?
