My dad has a really old police bike and he wants me to find 1) some history on it; 2) if its worth anything; 3) If he can sell it; 4) if its not worth much would a museum or a collector would want it. I have had a look on the internet but haven't found much and wondered if anyone had any clues where I can start?

    Thanks
    Kelly

We go to steam rallys now and then and they normally have exhibits of old cycles etc if he fancied going down that road. 02

Years ahead of their time. Silent and smooth:)
But what I really fancied was a Velocette Viper or Venom.

:thumb: Beautiful Bikes Dave I agree... A friend of ours has a Velocette Venom Clubman '69 from new & a KTT 1948.... Beautiful Bikes, but you kinda need a bottomless pocket...!!!:D We also new Stanley Woods for many years till his death in '93, who raced them in GPs & on the IoM.. He started racing in 1921...!! We knew him from our Guzzie connection... A very wonderful quiet Irish man....:thumb:
