For @pete and anyone else interested in cacti, here are the old ones I mentioned a few days ago ...
I started collecting them in the 60s but haven't got any of the original ones now. These are from the 70s ...

This one I had as a Christmas present from a great-aunt in 1970, when it was tiny.
    It's called Ferocactus histrix :-

Another as a Christmas present in 1970 is Ferocactus pilosus pringelli :-

It needs repotting because of all the Kalanchoes and other weeds in with it and I can't pull them out.
Also it hasn't grown as much lately. When it does the new spines are bright red and it looks pretty. I will repot it in the spring.

    Cleistocactus strausii :-

It's from the 70s and would be much taller if it hadn't died back a few times. Fortunately it regrows

Another tall one which has died back a few times - Trichocereus spachiana
and if you look closely at it you can see how it has regrown a few times.:-

    Parodia leninghausii :-

    Stenocactus hastatus :-

It usually flowers, pretty mauve and white striped ones, but it had a rest this year.

    Next one, Mammillaria celsiana.
It has developed two heads an is leaning over. Repotting for next year.
No flowers on this one this year either.

Several of them flower but none have done it this year. I'm hoping they will enjoy the new greenhouse enough to flower next year.

Nice collection of oldies there Michael, yours look a lot cleaner than mine which seem to attract cobwebs and then all kinds of dirt.

Do you overhead spray them occasionally during the summer.

I use a forceps, which you can buy online, to weed around my cactus.

Thank you @pete They are usually full of cobwebs but I brushed them before puting them into the new greenhouse last year, and there aren't many spiders in there to make new webs.
I never spray them. Sometimes years ago I used to put them outside in heavy summer rain but can't be bothered these days, there are too many and the big ones are heavy.

Thank you @kindredspirit I will have to get a pair of forceps ...

A lot of my cactus have the obligatory cobweb......and dead skin and dried blood! But I still love them, even if they're trying to drain me

Mine are nowhere as old as yours but I repotted them this year & it has made a lot of difference - though only one that hadn't flowered before produced a single flower - a sign of gratitude perhaps??? :blue thumb: The only one that flowers every year again produced lots of cerise pink flowers again this year. None of the others have had flowers but all have put on new growth. :dbgrtmb:
