These two plants/trees were in my garden when we’ve moved in, the purple tree was a huge tree which we cut right back.

The flowering bush was tiny when we first moved in and now is quite big. They are both situated where we plan to put a patio so I’m hoping I’ll be able to cut them right back and move them?

I’m a gardening beginner so would like to know what these are so I can look into pruning tips etc!

    Thanks everyone xx
