I have a small patch in my lawn which needs re-seeding about 2ft long 1ft wide I had some grass seed from last year which I sowed 3 weeks ago and nothing has happened because the grass seed is a year old will it germinate.

As long as it was kept dry Arty, I think you have a fairly good chance of it germinating. Has the patch been kept moist?

I've used lawn seed that was a year old and it's come up. I've also used two year old seed, but that failed. Just a guide! :)
