    Hi

Although thankfully, we don't seem to have a mole problem - our garden clearly used to suffer from them as there are loads of dinner plate sized bare patches in the grass.

What's the best way to restore these? I'm thinking break up the soil with a hand fork and sow some grass seed?

    What would you recommend ?

    Thanks

Its likely that the squashed mole hils are higher than the rest of the lawn and will probably b scalped when it comes to mowing.

The minimum will be to make the mole hills level with the rest of the soil and then re-seed following the instructions on the packet. It might be necessary to moisten the soil a couple of hours before sowing given the current spell of hot weather ( well down here it is)
