    Hi all

I have just had a ramdom though but want to check that I'm not doing something silly. In the storms at the end of jan I had a bit of a drama with part of my chimney coming down, bouncing down the roof and landing in my drive.

Because of the repairs needed I had to remove approx 300 damaged tiles some smashed to pieces others with just a couple of inches smashed off of the bottom.

If I was to use these as edgings for flower beds or filler at the bottom of plant pots would there be any chemicals in the tiles (terracotta I think) that would leak into the soil and cause problems?

    Thanks Jen

oohhh sounds like i could do with knocking the chimney down the roof. [IMG] I'm edging my beds with the slats from featheredged fencing panels. I know they won't last forever, but they'll give the weeds sommat to think about at the min. :D
