I've got this shallow old china sink, measurements in new money is d=8 w=38 l=60, so as you can see only just over 3" deep. Hole in one corner and slightly on a slope so water drains away.

Ideas and suggestions for planting up, at this time of year, please.

A pic would help, but in the absence of that, me, I'd stick in some herbs or raddish or lettuce or, if you prefer, some bedding plants or perhaps aubretia or some nasturtium to tumble over the side? The possibilites are legion.

            Hello :)

That's a lovely sink. I have always fancied trying a small alpine flower or sempervivum (Spelling?!) garden in a tub. I have a small spare rectangular pot at the front at the moment and I am planning on planting it up with herbs- sage, thyme, etc. Maybe some chives! I like the idea of something quite fragrant.

            Kate
