Old text messages

Wife is deleting some old text messages. She has some that I sent her in the final days of my employment at a previous company (where I ended up getting ripped off by £9k). Some of them are quite amusing, so i thought I'd share

What an announcement. <Company A>, our main company, is bust. Another spin-off company is also bust. <Company B>, the company I've been working for, which is another spin-off of <Company A>, is not bust and has prospects but is currently skint. The honest boss is now making enquiries with the dishonest boss and the accountant to see if there is any point keeping us here. I'm going for a smoke.

I've just seen an email that wasn't meant for my eyes. This is dodgy as hell. Remember that christmas card we got off <Pseudonym 1>, or should I say <Pseudonym 2>? It seems nobody paid the print company for them, and now they are taking legal action.

<Dishonest boss> I was thinking about what you said in your last text. I've been more than fair and patient. I did work for you in good faith and even opened up a sales avenue for you in Taiwan. I spent borrowed money on fuel to get into the office, worked hard, and even tried to keep the peace when others were losing their patience. In return you've failed to honour any part of the bargain. I'm more dissappointed than annoyed, because I put that effort in because I thought you were a good lad. I don't want to make this formal, I really don't, but I'm getting to the point where it might have to come to that.

I got a call from <dishonest boss> today. He is so full of moo poo.He reckons an investor wants to put £2 million in. The only way that could be true is if he found someone that was extremely rich and even more insane. Anyone that crazy would be in a padded cell. He is lying yet again.
