we're living in Kenya and our 3 oleandears could grow in the soil.
One started to show symptoms of a disease a few month ago, I cutted the shrub to see if it's coming again and also the other showing first Symptoms. I've attached 3 pictures:
    - it is starting with curling leafes
    - than you see spots / damages on the branch
    - the young shoots are getting dry completly
Could you give my any hint?

I wouldn't like to guess as to what your oleander problem might be istria, I think your growing conditions must be very different to growing in the UK.

I have had a problem with oleander in the past and it involves the stems turning black and the above growth dieing, but it may be very different to what your experiencing.

Hi Istria & Welcome to GC... As Pete says things are different here.. You might like to Google these three though as they are diseases that affect Oleanders.. They are in Jamaica & CA where I have spent time & these are usually the culprits...
    Sooty cankerOleander gall

    & Oleander leaf scorch

I know not very cheerful but I hope it helps.. :thumb:

Hello istria and welcome to GC.

You say your Oleanders 'could' grow in soil ... are they in pots? If so, perhaps you have a vine weevil in the pot .. you would need to take the plant out and examine the roots for this.

I grow Oleanders here, doubles, 4 meters tall. I don't have any problems in general with them but every other year get the aphid problem and I hose it off.

To be honest, I don't know what your problem is but could be ..

So, that is my offering and hopefully you can resolve your problem and please let us know the outcome.
