Olympic torch

Just wondering if anyone is going to go watch the torch pass by. I'm thinking of going in the am and getting a few pics. It's a once in a lifetime thing so I thought I might make an effort.......

 

It came our way a week or so ago. We got up at the crack of dawn to go and see it. It was scheduled to arrive in Redcar at 7am. We arrived at 6:45 just in time to see it, and we had to run like mad down the last street to get a good view. It was a proper anticlimax, but at least the weather was surprisingly nice.

 

We were going to go on Sunday but me and the wife are in Manchester tomorrow to see the Stone Roses play so we will miss it, but 3 people from my work are torch bearers and they brought the torches in on Tuesday so people could have there photo's taken with it.

That's MY problem clueless..... it's a similar time frame so I'll have to get up early. Plus I have to work later on too. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to suck it up........

 

We saw it wednesday in skegness,nice suprise and daughter seen it again today in glapwell

 

Might go along next week to see if I can get lucky with the bodyguard in the far left of that picture.

 

Ok so I levered my butt out of bed and drove up to where I work. It was CHUCKING it down but there was a good crowd out. I didn't get that good of pics :(
