one more - is it a viburnum and anyone know which type?

    Just one more plant from my garden which I forgot yesterday. I think it's a type of viburnum - anyone able to confirm this and identify which type. Thanks very much

    Good luck with your new garden. you have a good selection of plants to start you off.

    I can confirm that it is a Viburnum.
    However, I hesitate to say which one, it is a rather large group.
    Will have a think!

    I can eliminate many Viburnum from the leaf shape, pattern of veins, matt texture to leaf, time of flowering etc.
    My best suggestion is Viburnum x burkwoodii.
    or one of the named cultivars such as V. x burkwoodii Anne Russell

    P.S. Please do not do too much to your garden for a year. Wait and see what other treasures might appear. it could have lots of spring bulbs hidden.

    I was thinking, maybe, V.carlcephalum or V.carlesii.:thumbsup:
