Meg. Last seen monday at 4.30am. She'd hidden in my son's room & decided to wake him up at half 4, to let her out :heehee: She's a little bugger for that.

None of the neighbours have seen her. I'll try phoning the vets tomorrow, but she is microchipped and has a collar & tag, so she should be easily returnable.

Even the other 2 cats are missing her & they don't get on with her much.

Oh dear, other than the fact she is one beauty (but they all are) I/we would be worried sick and walking everywhere calling. We can't stand it if one of ours goes missing for more than 8 hours. We started off on our short holiday this year and my 16 year old didn't show and we came back being partway up on our journey ... but left again and got the phone call from our house/cat sitters when we were an hour away that he indignantly marched back in snubbing them and went and lay on our bed! They have cat sat for five years so no strangers. None of our cats have ever been missing for more than 18 hours and we were frantic at that point.

Our thoughts and hearts are with you for a safe return of Meg. xx:ktykss:

thanks all. We usually see her every day. She goes down the road to a neighbours paddock to sleep & catch mice, but they havent seen her. I've been walking around, calling. It's not like her. She was a rescue cat, we got her about 4yrs ago.

We've had cats disappear before. Last time was last December. Will'o' our big grey tabby. Not seen him since. He was 14, so we wonder if he went off to die? It's just not knowing & of course my youngest child (11) is quite upset about it (as I am).

Sorry to hear about your cat, Randy, and I hope she returns with a look on her face that say "What's all the fuss about?" as cats do.:cat-kittyandsmiley:

have you posted any pics of her on nearby fences ect. Down at the Newsagents or local Supermarket? I'm sure she'll turn up Randy.
Please let us know won't you?

Aww, don't worry, cats do that often, usually when the vet is booked.

Sorry to hear that, she is such a beauty!

Have you tried the airing cupboard? :noidea: One of mine went missing and the cheeky thing has sneaked into the airing cupboard and was tucked right behind the emersion heater.

Fingers X's she comes home (safe!)

Our Ben went walkabout for 5 days a while back and 3 days a few weeks ago. Came back as if he had only just stepped out for a minute, not even hungry and despite the rain, dry.
Hope yours turns up again. It is very worrying though.

Any news on your lovely cat? Our 15 year old, called Tom went missing last August. We did a leaflet drop through all letter boxes in our immediate area. Unfortunately it wasn't a happy outcome for us, but at least we knew and weren't left wondering about him. They are a worry, but sadly they just love to be free and wander.....I feel for you and really hope she turns up safe and well soon.
