Interesting comparison between last year and this.

    Taken 25th Nov 05 - almost a white out!

No, not the Med but a very balmy day at Elie on the beach.

Hard to think we've hardly had a frost this Autumn and the only drifts I could find were sand drifts thown up by the recent winds.

Lovely pics, frogesque, both last year and this. And what a super little place Elie is!

Amazing is the word for it!! I haven't been to Elie in years - not since I was a kid. Looks lovely and inviting, Froggy - must go back one day - after all, it's not much more than an hour's drive from here....

Lovely pictures Frogesque and what a great idea to keep a record of when your pictures were taken. I know it's a lot easier with digital because it stores all the information. I'm about to check on my images to see when it snowed here.
The weather here on the Suffolk coast has been very mild and I've kept my beach hut on (more for storage) this winter just in case we feel the urge to go down to the seafront. The beach is great in the winter, spacious empty beaches and glorious dawns.

Great photos Blackthorn and truly amazing for Cornwall.

Hope I'm not teaching anyone to suck eggs, but cameras will automatically expose for a mid tone. That means you get grey snow. To get white snow, you need to open up a stop or two or set your automatic camera to its "snow and beach" setting

    Cheers
