Onion results.....

    All things considered, late planting out, pesky puppy intervention and our hoards of urban foxes, my onions did ****!

    Top weight was 1lb 7oz (well, slightly under).

    Undeterred, I will try again next year, (ooops, this year actually cos I'll be sowing the seed in December).

    I'm going to dig out the bed and re-soil it, my veg patch is now pup proof (although she's no longer a pup) and the "boys" pee seems to be deterring the foxes.

    Been a great year for beans though, no pun intended, brassicas have recovered from their fox attack and our first cauli is on the menu tonight. :)

    :gnthb: Well good to hear you have made a good recovery from everything Vince, you will give them a run for their money next year with your onions for sure.. As for the rest sounding promising & eating your 1st cauli tonight seems a nice little bit of pleasure... :yho:
