Hi folks. Today, I put my onion seedlings into trays for growing on. Question is, what kind of aftercare do they need ? For now, I've put the trays back into my propagator. What I THOUGHT I'd do is leave them there for a a few days to settle in before moving them back out to the staging. BTW, the greenhouse is unheated although there is a heater just to keep out the frost (usually around 5c minimum or so). Cheers...freddy.

When I raise from seed in modules, I wait till they are about twice the size of a hairpin, then plant them out, but this will be in about 6-8 weeks time, so maybe your unheated g/house is best for now

Freddy keep growing them on in the greenhouse. As it`s frost free, they shouldn`t need the propagator. They way the weather is at the moment, I wouldn`t worry about planting them out much before April.:gnthb:

I`m banking on you being right Dai-I am starting to do some sort of successional sowing all my annuals on the strength of my own gut feeling about this spring and you have just decided me.

Don`t start sowing too early, though, Claire.
