onion sets

happy new year all!i'm going to try growing some onions from sets on my little plot,i've manured and was lookin for sets in garden centre but couldn't find any. is it to early to buy them??thanks.

About the end of Jan they appear around here.

Davep you could buy some onion sets over the internet try Thompson-Morgan, they have some sets on sale

 

You may not get much choice in the garden centre. Have a look at this place if you are keen to get going.

tomatoes!!They're basic, easy to grow, but definitely tasty! Why not try growing some of the hanging basket varieties? Lovely, and look good too....
