onions on tree's!!!

i have to laugh, a friend of mine on my own forum does not get on with her neighbour, and the neighbour has hung onions on the tree between the two houses...

she is convinced its a white whitch spell !!!

any reason why someone would hand peeled onions on a tree ????

It isn't a wierd pagan ritual-although quite funny. They feed the birds, it's an old fashioned thing. lol

 

hahahahah she will be upset when i tell her!!! she secretly wanted a bit of witch craft i think!! hahah!!

 

Tell your freind to plant apple trees and sage bushes all around her patch if she wants a bit of witchcraft. It is said that this particular combination wards off evil spirits and brings long life.

 

Probably trying to keep aphids or other insect pests away,usually though you boil them add pepper and use this as a deterent.
