Online MOT History

Some of you may know of this MOT history site , I only found out about it last week.
Very useful for finding the cars history before purchase . I used it to look if my cherished cars were still being MOT'd , i.e still on the road.
I had a red Triumph Spitfire 1973 , that is still being tested and driven up to April 2016 !
Another pride and joy was my Alfa Romeo 156 Sportswagon 2001 . I sold this in 2009 . It has the test history up to 2013 , when it stops . The car was possibly written off then , or someone is driving it with no MOT , insurance and licence !

I've used it alot and the one to see if a vehical is TAXed and MOTed
Nice to look at your friends and people you know and don't know to see if there vehicals are taxed

 

Useful for anybody thinking of buying a car to check on all those items what have been flagged up as not sufficient to warrant failure, but will probably will need sorting out before the next MOT.

When a friend's relative had trouble with a second hand car bought from a garage with a brand new 12 month MOT they'd done themselves, I pointed them in the direction of this site.

Looking at the mileages will quickly identify a swopped odometer.

Looked up a couple of my old Fords.
One appears to be off the road now, but my last one seems to have only done 2000 miles after I sold it, before doing 9000 miles the following year.

 

Having spent the last 24 years on the Isle of Man I can't look up any vehicles I owned there, they don't have MOT's. My current car isn't due for it's first MOT until March.
