    Put a fungal log in with all the course stuff, hopefully the mycellium will spread and rot the woody bits down :fingers crossed:

      Good idea but not sure how long it might take for the fungus to spread, wouldn't you be better relying on microbes and the heating up of the compost bin?

        The course stuff is mainly woody bits and soil, someone isn't very selective about what she puts on the compost :th scifD36:
