    as some of you know im a newbie to gardening welllllllllll i have just been dead heading my fushia and found berries! didnt even know they produced them . Anyway i did a bit of research and they are apparently edible.Just wondered has anyone tried them?

      Yes. Some species/cultivars are far better than others though so it's a case of trial and error. You can make quite a nice sauce from them for chicken if you have enough.

              harry i am from lancashire too:) i was so chuffed to find something new! isnt gardening amazing guys:) hahhha i tested it on hubby first lol he opened it then licked it then said he wasnt eating it incase my research was wrong! dont blame him i didnt try them (just in case hahah) will try one tomorrow lol
