I'm taking part in an open studio event on the weeknd of 11th/12th June. There are nine houses in my suburb, incuding mine, which will be open to show a wide variety of paintings, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics etc. I always open my small (but perfectly-formed) garden too and display my ceramic work, including garden pots, there. Everything is for sale but everyone is welome to have a browse and a chat. Lots of people make an afternoon of it and traipse round the lot!

If any local gardeners might be interested in coming drop me a message and I'll send you the details. It would be great to meet up with a few Gardener's Corner peeps!

Mods - I hope this doesn't count as advertising, if so,mea culpa, please delete the thread.

Ive recently had potters, ceramicists and enamel artists at my own open garden. I confess Im not remotely arty but very much enjoyed discussing form, function and colour chemistry!

I was really surprised at how many people there are working from home studios in my small neighbourhood. They've opened a small gallery to display and sell their work.
Do you have a website Madahhlia? I dont think its advertising if Ive asked for it ;-)

No sorry, I don't have a website - should have! If you type Art House into Facebook you get to its home page but there's not a lot on it.

    I'll do that. :)

You could get a free Word Press site. There are a vast supply of free themes and layouts for your pages. There are many plug ins and widgets too, and they are all easy to assemble into a functioning website and online shop.
You can link it to etsy.com if you are registered there.
