Hello People nice to meet you, I'm Ashes. I live and grow in Slough, Berkshire, UK.

Only started gardening and growing things last year but suffice to say I got the bug and I can't wait to start growing things again after spending a miserable winter gazing through the window at a garden with no life in it.

We built a herb garden last year which I absolutely love and can't wait to start to introduce some new herbs into it. (will upload pics soon)

My plan this year is to make a mint and basil vertical wall, not sure how it's gonna turn out but I have this crazy idea, backed up by a vision, so I'm convinced it's gonna look cool, everyone else can't seem to see my finished vision but they soon will LOL. All I gotta do is get together 20 or 30 different varieties of mint and basil and the work can start.

Ok enough gassing from me, I don't want to bore you on my first visit, I'll save that for the fourth or fifth visit

Welcome - and with a Thread Title like that, it seems you may fit in with the other inmates with their sense of Humour.

All I will say at this time is - Don't take to heart any weird banter that turns up. A lot of us have a habit of assuming everyone has the same sort of humour, and put a comment out there.

Hopefully you will find it's a lot of fun on here - and useful information and advice as well. There's a lot of excellent advice given and every topic seems to generate a sensible and valuable response - somewhere along the line.:WINK1:
