Give it to me up front....I can take it.
What do you think of this image?
    I love the contrasts.
    the dark sky.
the fierce flame and the guy with the brolly.

Sorry Robert but it does nothing for me.

And I also find the bottom portion of his dayglo jacket distracting.

Reminds me of one of those 'magic eye' pictures, think it's the repetitive shape of the flames. Not for me either.

    make 4 for no...
There are too many contrast for the picture to flow smoothly or communicate something. It would be interesting to know what it says to you...

Could be it reminds me of the event.
The heat, blast, and noise from those explosions was something I have not experianced since watching live aircraft firing in Malaysia.

I think there is some potential in the image. To me there is a bit of humour about a chap standing in pouring rain, getting soaked while watching a dirty great wall of flame.
I think that the way the man is positioned and the darkness of the foreground leads to him becoming lost. A bit of cropping might improve things - though it all depends on what you want to convey.

It's a most unusual scene though!

What is going on there? It reminds me of the playing field near a really rough estate my mate used to have the misfortune of living on. Has the man in the day glow jacket just set fire to a stolen car?

I like it but would crop the end off with no flame.

Is it real......The flames look superimposed to me.
If you remove the flames, but leave the guy as and where he is,then you may well have a decent picture.

I think it would look better without the flames and if it was a bit lighter.
