    Heya,

I'm hoping someon can help - for Valentines Day last year, me and my then fiance brought my future mother in law, Sue, an orchid from Asda. It did quite well for a while and had some lovely pink flowers and large green leaves at the base. It did dye off for a while, and we thought we'd lost it, but it came back to life.

Sue died in August after a 10 month battle with cancer, and her orchid is looking a bit, well, sorry for itself.

I water it occassionally, trying to make sure I don't drown it, but is there any hope of it coming back to life?

    Thanks,

    Jen

Not much chance Jen but put it where there is a bit more light and make sure the cash pot isn't holding water,it tends to run through the coarse compost when you water and pools at the bottom.

Its not looking promising i'm afraid, it probably wouldn't hurt to try an orchid feed though, you can but them from most good garden centres etc.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
