orchid help

help im really confused because everybody is telling me different things please help. my orchids finished blooming and now the stems are brownish pinkish and i dont know what i should do now for them.

Is your orchid one of the Phalaenopsis, moth orchid? If so then if the flowering stems are going brown then they will not flower from that stem again. So cut them back. If they show some green leave them for a while and you could get new flower stems from the older one which will produce flowers.

should i cut the stem all the way off? are no more stems ever gonna grow?

Yes, cut those brown stems off as low as you can get them, they are dead and serve no purpose.

Your plant looks good and healthy with a new leaf emerging so you are clearly doing things right.

Don't know if or when you are feeding them, but if not, now is a good time to give it a boost.
So many Phal orchid feeds on the market, so choose one and follow its instructions.

In a month or two you should see a new Spike emerging which as it grows you can support with a cane and clip.
