Hi everyone, I've not been here for a while but now need any advice you can give me regarding an orchid which I bought recently.
It is one of the common ones you see in M&S or Tesco. It has two stocks with three flowers on one and two on the other. it also had 6 lovely shiney buds which looked like they were about to open. Alas two of the largest buds began to crinkle and have now dropped off. I know you are supposed to keep then fairly dry so they have only been watered once since beginning of January It has been on my kitchen window. How do I know when it needs watering.

They don't need to be kept dry! while in flower they need food and water but don't let the pot sit in water, spray the roots every couple of days for humidity.
