Orchids and Lavender in Jersey

Having just returned from a long weekend in Jersey i feel it necessary to let people know about the wonderful flora I came across.

I recommend orchid enthusiasts take a trip to Jersey to visit the Eric Young Orchid Foundation, where i would go as far to say that this could be one of the best orchid displays in the world. The nursery is part of the beautiful Trinity parish which is also quite breathtaking.

My wife and I also discovered the lavender farm which I found to be an interesting and educational way of spending a few hours.

It was a fantastic weekend!
