organic/heirloom/heritage seeds

    have i got this right, heirloom/heritage, are true and older variety, organic non f1 are just open polinated and can be cross polinated, and f1 are well what can i say other than keep away from.
    also how do you know if they are f1. do all f1 seeds have f1 written on the packet.
