Hello everyone, due to my restricted mobility (ambulant), limited energy & after much reading until late, I have decided to work with soil amendments & Aerated Compost Teas & the 'Nutrient Exchange system', as a way to revitalize my tired soil & establish a healthy Soil Food Web, prior to building up raised beds. I understand there is much debate around this area of A.C.T.s, so I have posted three links (first two linked) that I have come across, for further discussion. I must admit to restricting my understanding to the conclusions of reports at times, I have also found that some people do rubbish this approach citing a lack of scientific study however I have found that scientific research is active, certainly in the UK & USA & more is being called for. Anyway, here they are:

Hi Craig....very interesting stuff and it has to be worth a try. Let us know how you get on with it. Like John says, many here use comfrey tea and swear by it. As soon as I get properly stuck into my new garden when all the DIY is complete inside I'll be trying comfrey tea myself. I just need a peg for my nose! :snorky:
