Hi, my husband (Mike) and I are organic gardeners (in Somerset, UK) and have grown practically all our own veg and potatoes for many years. Ornamentals only if they are useful I'm afraid, such as marigolds (good for other plants, and supply lutein for my eye problems), poached-egg plants and other insect-attractants. I write a monthly blog (Thought for Food), about all the things you can sow at this time of year (corrections gratefully received) and what you can eat if you want to be local and seasonal. Plus recipes for the time of year, and some opinions about eating well.
I am looking forward to ask you questions and maybe give answers as the year progresses! Oh, and as well as a garden we have two allotments.
    Love, Annemieke Wigmore, http://thoughtforfood-aw.blogspot.com.

You're naughty indeed, Zigs, making me want to ask so many questions and it is not allowed here. I'll try though. So, you must live in Chillington.

Its not me, I don't think. Although I do have a personal rule of never doing internet shopping after I've had a drink, just in case I buy something I can't afford.

Ohhhh, very intriguing, who could it be then? Someone who kills people eh? That narrows it down to about half our members :)

That can't be two miles Zigs. I suppose I could look you up in the members list. I'm not very clever at these things as you see. Nor have I found out how to put a photograph on. (Still no question marks!)

To put a photo on either click the upload a file button at the bottom of the reply box or copy and paste from a host like photobucket or flickr:)

Trying the photograph now. Yes it will go under here, but I like to get it in the little female square to the left. Actually, maybe you have to be very old (as a member) for that. (See, still no question marks.)

Oh, you meant the Avatar pic, sorry. Hover your cursor over your name in the bar at the top, that should open your user control panel. Click on Avatar & then follow the instructions:)
