I have just recieved some poppies how do I plant them I don't fully understand instructions, they are in a plastic bag, they look like tubers with a bit of growth on top, sorry if this sounds trivial but am new to this sort of thing. Would it be best to plant together as I have six plants or would you put seperatly??

Depends if you want a large clump Sue. I would tend to group them in the same area rather than using them as feature plants, but that is just my preference and I certainly wouldn't put them very close together, but you can if you want. I am afraid nobody can tell you what to prefer. One of the nice things about gardens is you can position things as you want.
