Hi all - I've a much loved palm tree that seems to be wilting away to nothing - can anyone help? The leaves are brown and wilting from the tips up, and nothing I can do seems to help.

    Looks like frost damage.

Wait and see what new growth it puts up.

It`s a Cordyline australis, if those are the outside leaves just remove them. If they are the Heart leaves, say goodbye.:thmb:

Hi Adredwood. up here in my area in scotland the (Cordyline Australis) in nearly all of the gardens and park areas have been wiped out, due to the very cold winter and hard frost. some of these Cordyline had been growing happily for many years. some of them have been reduced to mulch :(
