other questions to rack your brains!

just thought of a new bunch of questions!
* my other clematis 'dorothy walton has just finished flowereing too, what shall i do about that?
*when do you dig up garlic bulbs?
*any ideas for what colour i can paint my snails!!!!!!!!!!

Black for your finger snails and red for toe snails does it for me

 

I keep nipping off the heads when the petals drop and usually get more flowers , Rouge Cardinal,President. Garlic is better fresh, so I use as and when it's ready. Lash plenty into butter and marinades for the BBQ's. Lift main crop late summer and dry for storage. Wear gloves to keep your painted snails looking good !!
