Spent the day/ early eve at the inlaws and after having a rather nice day offered to take some of the wife's rellies home. I was putting the little uns booster seat in the boot to make room and caught my head on the corner of the hatch. It hurt.... A lot........and still does. Still bleeding but I don't think it needs stitches. The wife has just cleaned it up and she says its quite long and deep.

Note to self, always pop the hatch fully open before going in the boot!

You ought to still get it checked out at the local minor casualty dept. Apart from the risk of scarring, you should never ignore a head injury, even if it seems fairly minor.

Ouch Al, that's not very nice and will make hair washing difficult until it heals. Have you any good old Dettol? And an antiseptic cream after,

Ouch! How are you today Al?

I caught my shoulder on the top corner of the door on my Sierra years ago (as I was getting into the car in a bit of a hurry) - claret everywhere! Wrecked the shirt and tie that I was wearing and took me ages to get it out of the car upholstery

Feeling great, a slight dull headache all day, but great. I need to wash my hair tonight as I feel Ming but I don't know how to do it tbh. It's scabbed over nicely, but I have a nicely swollen scab, eeuuugggghhhhh!!!

It'll be fine.. the head bleeds a lot more than other parts of the body when cut. therefore even mild cuts seems like they're gushing blood. It is those sudden jolts forward and backward that do the most damage to the brain.
