We came back from the football to find either a young Weasel or Stoat in the conservatory (very much alive and well).

We can only assume one of the cats bought it in when we were away and dropped it in the conservatory to play with it but then got a bit scared of it.

We have both cats locked in for the night now and they are both fine and no bites which is what I was worried about, if it had managed to bite whichever one it was which caught it.

Our two are normally out till about this time of night - well the cat flap gets put on 'in only' at this time but one is often out quite late if it is a nice evening.

We are heading out for a few hours in a bit and I am glad they are both in before we go as then I know neither of them was bitten by the 'present' - mind you Oscar is hunting round the house looking for it!

I like the idea of a stoat / weasel! Look in the thread Look what my Darling Brought Home (or words to that effect) to see what my Magic Sam has brought us. Ditto, mine have always been in for the night ... they have always like their creature comforts ... like a litter box, food and a bed (our bed, of course!).

Question....Do frogs bleed ....This morning we had blood stains along the skirting board, all we could find was a live frog (We had loads of rain last night and to-day)
Did the blood come from the frog?or is there another animal somewhere?
Oh by the way we assume that our cat Lucy(the one with attitude)bought in the frog.
