Our Mocat is proper poorly...

I had to get him to the vets quick this morning.
His throat was swollen and he was having trouble breathing.
The diagnosis was an abscess maybe caused by him fighting.
There are no sign at all of any injury so that may be incorrect.
After a real good check-over and three injections he is now resting on the settee and receiving visitors !
I am giving him water with a small syringe and it may be several days before he can eat anything.
He will have to cancel his visits to the neighbours for a day or two...

Sorry to hear that Robert. It's horrid when our pets get ill. I'm sure you will wait on him hand and foot :luv:

 

Update:
He has perked up overnight and is much improved.
He is eating again and seems to be eager to get out and tell all his friends about it.
He says thanks for good wishes and merry christmas
