Well we have an addition to our family of two dogs, two cats. His name is Shadow he is a siberian husky. He came to us yesterday from a broken home, he is a bit of a mess he's been in a pen for about a month and hasn't really been looked after properly, his coats a mess and casting!!! and is a bit under fed, very friendly with us all apart from the cats. It was a bit of a rushed decision and I hope we don't live to regret it. We just felt so sorry for it. :( [IMG]

great news i,m sure you will have shadow sorted soon and settled in, in no time at all.
looking forward to seeing pictures of shadow, my hubbys son had siberian husky and had to sell her as they both worked and it was just about 9 weeks old and ripped the place apart when they were out, he intends on getting another one when he sorts his place out as they do need out-door quarters. good luck.

Thanks rosa he is going to be hard work he's 4years old. I think we will have to get an area for him in the garage when we go out, our other two are fine left inside, shadow probably just needs some time. I will try and get some pics of him.

Well done you, dalbuie, taking Shadow. I'm sure after some pampering he'll realise how lucky is he that you found him / he found you.

Good luck and I also look forward to seeing pictures.

its a pity we didnt get snow more often then you could of strapped shadow to a harness and get him running mind you can get them with wheels then he can carry around all the other pets you have, that would make him involved in the family :D [IMG]
    looking forward to seeing him

Here is a picture of Shadow, its been difficult to get him to stay still. My hubby and I gave him a bath and a good brush so he looks a bit better now. [IMG]

Oh, dalbuie, what a beauty he is! Huskeys are very popular here and they have them even shorter haired than your Shadow. My friend has one. I think you've got a winner there!

Shadow looks friendly ... probably has enjoyed all your pampering.

Keep us posted on the progress, also with him and the other four critters.

All the best with Shadow, Dalbuie! I'm sure he'll be as rewarding as our Charlie. Dogs who have had a hard time often respond with loads of affection when they know you're treating them well, and they've got a good home now. He looks gorgeous!

    Good Luck! :D

Shadow is wonderful - but your got a job on your hands, at 4 years for the next few months. When I was brewing up to get another dog 18 months after the death of my last Cav - I sas a rescue husky, and oh so nearly, cos I love the look and action of the breed - but brain won over heart - and settled for another cav.

Good luck, and I hope he settles well with your other pets.
