We've got girls too! They arrived a few months ago.
They're not technically ours but they are all retired so it looks like their owner won't want them back! They are a rare breed from Hereford called Ryeland which makes them extra fuzzy! They make great pets 'cos they keep the grass down (and keep it well fertilised!) and come running up for a stroke and a scratch if they're in the mood!

This is Xcon, the eldest at about 8 years old. Their names come from the letter representing the year they were born and their owner ran out of normal girls' names beginning with X! She's got bandy legs and a loud baa!

This is Zoe the second eldest and the fattest lump of fluff you have ever seen!

And this is Podge on a frosty day. She was born in a 'C' year but she was very fat when her owner bought her! They are so well insulated that the frost doesn't melt!

They will be even fuzzier by the end of the winter and even now it's getting time to trim the wool around their eyes so they can see where they're going!
    Hope you like the pics!

Lovely. Now, you going to learn how to shear them and knit lots of woolly jumpers? :)
