IMG_5578.JPG A special day for our little family today, so to get out into the garden, seeing it looking blooming lovely has been very healing and therapeutic. We managed to get to the garden centre for a few new additions too which is always a treat, and somewhere I find calming and peaceful.

Our Ceanothus is looking particularly stunning this year, its huge and magnificent and yet the individual flowers are so dainty. Its flowering at the same time as one of our weeping cherry trees, which has double pink flowers, the contrast of colours is so beautiful and set against the lovely blue skies today.

And some new additions, thanks to Monty on last weeks Gardeners World!

Still lots of plans for the garden, but its really starting to look the way we want it to, and its our little haven in this crazy world.

Thanks @Verdun , it's coming along nicely. Interested to see what comes up over the summer, as we planted lots of new summer flowering plants last year to try and keep the colour going throughout the year.
