    As promised, have posted a few photographs of our garden makeover with a tropical touch. It was key for us to make sure that we kept quite an open aspect for our entertaining areas.
    I started the project in March 2021 and by mid-June most of the work was complete (if that ever actually happens!). We live at the top of a hill (yes, they do exist in Norfolk) so are often exposed to windy elements. How our garden fares over time will be interesting to see, but so far so good! Hello Mark

      What a lovely space you have created ... and with style! And best of all, you have a beautiful furry baby to grace and rule over the domain. :cat-kittyandsmiley: Reminds me of my Magic Sam who lived to be 20 here.

      What are the orange plants please ... I love orange and pink plants together so am upping my orange at the moment.

        Yes, Blues is our "furry baby". Mind he is 17 now and never had it so good, after being left behind by his previous owners when they moved in 2012!
        The orange flowers you see are;
        The delicate ones in the foreground are Geum Tangerine Dream, where as the more spikey ones are Gazania Giant Deep Orange. The latter have been fantastic value as they have been flowering deep into winter on a sunny day. Keeping a watchful eye over them is Phormium Apricot Queen, which we moved from another part of our garden

          Thank you. I can and have in the past grown both here so will look for those varieties.

          We have a pet section to Show Off Your Pets and you should put Blues up there.

            One year on from when the previous photos were taken, I thought I would post an update on how things are looking.
            Sometimes you don't realise how much things have changed/grown until you compare pictures!

                Love it! That’s going to be amazing in a few years when the trees have matured further. :smile:

                  What is the palm type tree at the back behind the table?
