As it's been downright chilly only hardy annuals have gone out, and five rogue runner beans which unexpectedly germinated (they expired in 2012 :oopss:) - they are looking decidely unhappy. Most things have been hardening off in a sheltered place for what seems like weeks now, but while we haven't had frost, night-time temperatures are still down to about 6ºC so haven't wanted to risk it. The rest of the beans and squashes are still under cover but I think a lot of things will be going out next weekend as the weather looks set to improve.

I've had my tender perennials out for a few weeks now. Although some nights are a bit cool still at least they've been frost free. Incredibly one pot of Hymenocallis has flower buds!

                  Everything is outside now.
This weekend, anything that is going out side, is now outside.
With just one or two exceptions.

And what a relief that is, I can now get inside my greenhouses to water the stuff that is left behind.

I've got most of mine out too, but I have fleece, cloach tunnels etc etc at the ready just incase! My pots are in & out of the greenhouse & porch but I think this week they reall need to be out. The saying around here is never cast a clout until may is out so I'm a bit early! I have friends who don't put stuff out until the second week in June, I can't wait that long! :)
