Hi, I wonder if anyone can answer this question. I have an outdoor palm which I have had for about 2 years. Last year I had no problems but this year brown spots have appeared on some of the leaves. The leaves were covered up over the winter although not the pot. I have been on a few websites this morning and have gathered it could possibly be due to underwatering or a potassium deficiency. Could anyone please shed some light as I don't want to start overfeeding it and killing off altogether. Many thanks

I think its more likely the hard winter.

What kind of palm is it?

    What was it covered with?

Are the brown spots on older leaves, or newish ones?
