    When I was at the Dorset show I overheard a chap from the owl sanctuary telling a bloke that if he couldn't see the owl house the owl wouldn't see it so he said it had to be in a tree but not hidden. Didn't hear the rest but hope that helps a bit

    The boxes only need to be around 10 to 15 feet high. Preferably at the edge of woodland overlookimg open land with a clear flight path. Face it south east and out of winds, needs to be up by November :)

    You'll have to keep an eye out and see if u can get some pics. I took some pics of some lovely owls at the Dorset Show. They're in the gallery section.


    Now u just gotta get up that tree and fit it lol
