Just taken a bucket full out of compsot bin started this 2yrs ago.

Can I add this to my veggie bed or mix with bought compost.

Still beasties busy working in it.

Do I need to add anthing else to this now?

    Nice dark compost.

I don't use my own compost in containers less than about 9" - its quite lumpy and variable. I put it in the bottom of my tubs and urns, and then put some bought compost for the top 6" (where I plant things) so that the surface is easy to work, and weed seeds should be "well buried", but the plants can get their roots down into the good stuff.

Sticking it on the veg patch is fine as it will get mixed in (either by you, or by the worms etc.)
