own vegetable patch

    hi all i started my own vegetable patch this year and had some suceess with some and not with others i think i went about it all the wrong way and didnt plan very i am hoping to make it an all year round patch which it wont be for this year lol can anyone give me any advice i would very greatfully appreciate it

    Best of luck, Sassy. Nowt like home grown veg. Beats supermarket plastic hands down.

    If you describe your plot, and let us know which veggies you are trying / want to grow, I'm sure people will be along with advice.

    Well done on your successes Sassy and you'll learn from your failures.
    I would keep a notebook of what you plant, when you planted it and anything you learned as you went along.
    That way you can refer to it for next year and improve as you go along.

    well as to what i am going to grow not sure yet got a couple of books i have seen recommended on here quite a few times will keep u all updated on how it goes lol

    ok now need to make a decision and wouldnt mind some advice i still have some vegetables in do i pull these up and concerntrate on preparing ground for new start in spring or do i leave them it is carrots sprouts potatoes and cabbage and for the new grwing next year i now have a plot of 11ft wide by 32ft long
