Paedophiles.

I really hate getting political but I am really worried that international law allows a 61 year old paedophile who left the UK when he was 5 (56 years ago) should be deported by Australia to the UK because he had never taken out Australian citizenship.

Isn't it time that the law on this was looked at again? We have no responsibility for this guy. I don't want to get in an argument about whether he is ill or just wants shooting. In fact I know what several of our members views will be.

But we don't owe this guy anything and I can't see why he should be returned here after 56 years,

 

Well said John. We have just been watching it on the evening news.What I think is appaling is that the identities of these monsters are kept hidden from the public. :(

I don't know why they can't be castrated,have their hands chopped off and then have a very large brand put onto their foreheads so the world will see them for what they are...EVIL MONSTERS :eek:

 

Yeah, I agree with John, after all those years in Oz he cant be British anymore, we should refuse to accept him.
Surely he wasn't a paedo when he left at 5yrs of age, its something he picked up over there. :D

 

What about the Italian guy who killed Philip Lawrence? We can`t deport him because it would prevent him from having a family life. What about Mr Lawrences wife and children? Then you have the Ghanain woman snatched from a hospital in Cardiff and sent home to Ghana because her visa had expired. The woman was being treated for cancer. Which was more important, her health or her visa? Well, according to the British Immigration Services, her visa. She died yesterday because the standard of treatment was not available in Ghana. To Gordon Brown and the rest of the British Establishment.. I hope you are proud of yourselves.

 

australian goverment made a statement saying "we are well shut of him" so now he is here in soft touch uk. even if he offends again we will probably let him out early

 

And what about the Ghurkas who have fought and died for this country and our Monachy but they are not allowed to come and live in the country they fought to save,plus a lot of them don't get anywhere near as much pension as the Ghurkas already living here because of the 1997 cut off point,and yet people are jumping off the backs of lorries every single day and are welcomed with open arms :eek: ... no Justice at all

 

What is very worrying Nathan is that not only does he look like Father Christmas to you and me but he looks like Father Christmas to a small child. And Father Christmas is kind. I believe he looks like Father Christmas deliberately just because a young child would trust him.

 

I'm sick of the double standards in this country.

I could go on and on and on.....

Still, as you know, i'm just waiting for that win then we're all off aren't we?

Well Marley, for once I am not a woolly liberal. I agree that castration is the best answer for dealing with a paedophile. I can forgive many things but not serial child molesting. It is not a case of punishing the offender per se but it is definitely a case of protecting children. You could I suppose give them all a life sentence (and I mean life) but that is not very convenient for anybody and raises lots of complications but 5 minutes on the operating table could mean that these horrors have their perverted desires and practices curtailed - permanently.
