Those are big boys! Well done.

Are they growing indoors? I'd be tempted to subject them to a bit of weather to slow them down a little and toughen them up.

They are indoors at the moment, as we haven't got a greenhouse, and have temperatures as low as 3-4c at night. I will let them sit outside tomorrow, once the chill is off the air, to calm them down a little!! Apart from anything else, they will be sitting at the top of the garden, which can be a wind tunnel at times, once the risk of frost is gone. They will need strong stems to hold up there. I did read that Yellow Pear had been known to grow 12' long on a zig-zag cordon. (Also read that there be dragons....) I might be doing some fancy construction work with my hazel whips!!

If only the chillies would take a leaf out of their book?
