Yum yum. To have with Roast chicken tonight. Fried quickly in a mild garlic oil, ginger julienne and a light soy sauce:

Looks good Jenny , mine are about 1/4 that size at the moment . I am fishing around for Pak Choi recipes on the edible forum. Yours sounds lovely :dbgrtmb:
How quickly is "fry quickly" , about 2 minutes top ?

I think 2 mins will be OK Harry. Hot and quick. I think it helps " from garden to pan " in less than 30 minutes.
So much better than a Supermarket pack I think,
      Jenny

For who has never tryed before and would like to grow one or 2 ........
if you buy the pok choi from a supermarket , cut the leaves and plant the stalk , will grow back .

That's good to know Sal. :dbgrtmb: Pak choi 001.JPG
I think mine took a little longer than 2 minutes - nearer 4 TBH but I added the liquid to the chicken juice with some of the ginger to make the gravy.
Can't have a Sunday dinner without gravy.

I think I put the salad leaves in the raised bed about the 1st or 2nd week in May Sal. They had to endure some awfully cold nights but the Pak choi suddenly fattened up about 2 weeks ago following a decent spell of rain. Nothing like real rain to make things grow....
I am making successive sowings of these "salad leaves" about every 3 weeks so that we will have a constant supply hopefully,

Thanks for the tips - looks like it's Pak Choi for my new raised beds.
